Starting with the World Series, at the early ’80s, Bormio transformed itself hosting the Alpine Ski World Championships in 1985.
Since 1993 the, now famous, Stelvio Course hosted a men’s downhill transformed, just in a few years, in one of the greatest and classical event of the season.
Bormio hosted 31 men’s world cup races and 19 ladies’ events. Plus two Alpine World Ski Championships.
